九州地方では半導体関連工場の建設が相次ぎ、シリコンアイランドの実現に向けて期待が高まっております。一方で、人件費の高騰が深刻化し、労働力の確保が難しくなっています。従来より九州に地盤を置く自動車部品メーカーや食品製造メーカーなどの間では、人件費の上昇による利益率の低下や労働力不足による生産量の低下などが懸念されています。各工場や倉庫はより少ない人数での安定稼働を実現するための自動化の必要性に直面しています。

協業スキーム

今回の協業スキームにおいてIndustry Alphaは、導入や導入後のメンテナンスで四恩システムの力を借り、九州地方へ本格的に進出してまいります。

従来、Industry Alphaでは九州地方のAMR導入において、導入前のデモの実施や導入後のオンサイトのサポートといった文脈で、地理的な距離に起因するスピード感の欠落が障壁となっていました。そこで、九州に地盤を持ち、地場企業様からも信頼されている四恩システムと協力することで、このような課題を解決いたします。具体的には四恩システム本社(福岡県久留米市)にIndustry AlphaのAMRを常設しデモを実施したり、メンテナンス面で連携したりすることで、顧客ニーズの更なる充足に努めます。

Industry Alpha, which contributes to the automation of factories and warehouses, collaborates with Shion System to fully expand into the Kyushu region

Industry Alpha Inc. (Head office: Itabashi-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Takumi Watanabe; hereinafter referred to as “Industry Alpha”), which is engaged in the business of making factories and warehouses smarter by developing and introducing low-floor AMRs, has collaborated with Shion Systems Inc. (Head office: Kurume City, Fukuoka Prefecture; CEO: Junji Nita; hereinafter referred to as “Shion Systems”) on AMR-related businesses to contribute to further automation in the manufacturing and logistics industries in the Kyushu region.

In Kyushu, semiconductor-related factories are being built one after another, and hopes are rising for the realization of Silicon Island. However, rising labor costs are becoming a serious problem, making it difficult to secure labor. Automotive parts manufacturers and food manufacturers that have long had bases in Kyushu are concerned about declining profit margins due to rising labor costs and declining production volume due to labor shortages. Factories and warehouses are facing the need for automation to achieve stable operation with fewer people.

Collaboration Scheme

Under this collaborative scheme, Industry Alpha will make a full-scale advance into the Kyushu region, relying on Shion System’s capabilities for implementation and post-implementation maintenance.

Previously, when Industry Alpha implemented AMRs in the Kyushu region, the lack of speed due to geographical distance was an obstacle in the context of conducting pre-implementation demonstrations and on-site support after implementation. Therefore, by collaborating with Shion System, which has a base in Kyushu and is trusted by local companies, we will solve these issues. Specifically, we will strive to further satisfy customer needs by permanently setting up Industry Alpha’s AMR at Shion System’s headquarters (Kurume City, Fukuoka Prefecture) to conduct demonstrations and cooperate on maintenance.
