Event Report: Seminar on Innovative Startup Services for Achieving Warehouse DX

– Presentation on How to Build Adaptive On-Site Automated Transport Operations Using AMRs –
Overview
Industry Alpha Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “our company”) co-hosted the seminar titled
“Innovative Startup Services for Achieving Warehouse DX – Logistics Transformation Driven by Transport Automation and Robotics”
with Campus Create Co., Ltd. on December 16, 2024, at the Incubation CANVAS event space in Kyobashi, Tokyo.
Background of the Seminar
Against the backdrop of the so-called “Logistics 2024 Problem,” the logistics industry is facing urgent challenges such as labor-saving, workforce reduction, and productivity improvement across the entire sector.
To address these issues, our company jointly launched the Warehouse DX Open Innovation Promotion Project with Campus Create Co., Ltd. in November 2024. This initiative aims to support the advancement of warehouse digital transformation (DX) and to facilitate collaboration among various service vendors.
Key Announcements from Our Company
At this seminar, our company gave a presentation on “How to Build Site-Appropriate Automated Transport Operations Using AMRs.”
Our Vision for Warehouses and Factories
Our company develops and provides automation solutions for warehouses and factories using robotics and mathematical optimization technologies. We aim to realize warehouses and factories where each process is automated, processes are interconnected, and optimized. Specifically, the image of integrated operations includes automating processes such as receiving, inspection, transport, storage, and shipping in warehouses using AMRs (guide-less autonomous mobile robots), performing inspection with cameras, and having automated transport machines perform storage based on system inventory and shipping information.
Features of Our Technology and Services
Currently, our company is developing AMRs and the system that controls them, “Alpha-FMS,” to realize automated transport. Thanks to the excellent scalability and connectivity of “Alpha-FMS,” we are working on achieving overall optimization and full automation that includes the different operations and equipment unique to each operator and warehouse. With functions expanding to include remote operation while viewing high-definition video and robot status monitoring, exchanging larger volumes of information becomes indispensable for smart warehouses and factories. Therefore, the advancement of networks that realize high-quality, low-latency communication such as local 5G is essential, and our company will continue to focus on technical demonstrations and other efforts.
