Main features of “Akatsuki”
“Akatsuki” is an AMR that, as its name suggests, will bring a new dawn to the logistics industry.
The features of this AMR are briefly summarized below.
High-speed, highly reliable telescopic transfer unit
Precise self-location estimation technology
Flexible customization to meet customer needs
Intuitive UI and easy maintenance
Strengths of “Akatsuki” and benefits of its implementation
Akatsuki’s strength is its telescopic function that can be adjusted to the height of the target object.
The AMR autonomously moves to the shelf, picks up the target object, and places it at the destination.
In particular, the automation of the loading and unloading of folding containers and cardboard boxes is a function that has not been available in previous AMRs, and it can flexibly respond to the size and weight of the package. Since there is no need to customize special packages or shelves, it is characterized by low installation effort.
The benefit of introducing Akatsuki is that the distance employees have to walk to transport packages is significantly reduced. Since Akatsuki picks the packages, it solves the two processes of picking and walking that were previously performed by humans in one go.
Please experience the potential of Akatsuki, an advanced AMR, through this exhibition.
