Industry Alpha Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Itabashi-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Takumi Watanabe; hereinafter referred to as “Industry Alpha”), which is engaged in the business of making factories and warehouses smarter, including the development and introduction of low-floor AMRs, will be exhibiting a booth at the SusHi Tech Tokyo 2024 Global Startup Program, Asia’s largest startup conference, to be held at Tokyo Big Sight and other venues on Wednesday, May 15th and Thursday, May 16th, 2024.

The SusHi Tech Tokyo 2024 Global Startup Program is the largest global innovation conference in Asia and the only one in Japan that creates new encounters with domestic and international startup ecosystems. It was established as a place to create open innovation with a large social and economic impact by gathering in Tokyo diverse stakeholders including the world’s leading startups, investors, large corporations, and local governments using cutting-edge technology.

Industry Alpha’s overseas activities
In addition to automating manufacturing and logistics bases in Japan, Industry Alpha is actively expanding its business overseas. It aims to solve global issues by focusing on North America, where the need for automation is expected to grow further due to rising labor costs, and the ASEAN region, where many Japanese companies have manufacturing bases. Within this year, Industry Alpha will utilize its remote operation technology and local 5G, the next-generation communication technology, to remotely operate AMRs installed in Japan from its base in Vietnam, and work to implement automation solutions with an eye to the next 5 to 10 years from now.
