About Sugoi Venture 100

Amid the rapid growth of startup companies across Japan, supported by government initiatives, many innovative enterprises are emerging.

Among these, Toyo Keizai Inc. publishes an annual feature called “Sugoi Venture 100”, which comprehensively evaluates startups under the theme of “Next-Generation Companies Changing Society” based on factors such as fundraising scale and the uniqueness of their business and technology.

This year, 100 startups expected to lead Japan’s future were selected.

Industry Alpha was chosen in the “Logistics & Trade” category, one of 21 categories.

This category highlights companies providing solutions to challenges in the logistics industry such as long working hours, low wages, and labor shortages by utilizing robotics and IT technologies.

The feature highly evaluates not only Industry Alpha’s product lineup—including the AMR “Kaghelo” (low-profile autonomous mobile robot) and the FMS (fleet management system)—but also the company’s philosophy and overall business efforts toward realizing smart factories and warehouses.
