Strengths and Benefits of Introducing “Akatsuki”
The key strength of Akatsuki lies in its telescoping function that adjusts according to the height of the object.
The AMR autonomously moves to the shelf, grasps the object, and places it at the delivery destination.
Notably, automation of loading and unloading foldable containers and cardboard boxes is a function unique to Akatsuki, flexibly accommodating various sizes and weights of cargo.
Since no customizations for specific cargo or shelves are needed, the introduction process requires minimal effort.
The benefits of introducing Akatsuki include a significant reduction in the distance employees need to walk for cargo handling.
Akatsuki performs the picking of goods, solving both the retrieval and walking processes traditionally done by humans in one step.
